Dimplex DLW Series 70-Inch Radiant Indoor/Outdoor Infrared Electric Heater generates radiant heat, which warms things and people rather than the air. The DLW heater must be positioned such that items and persons are inside the heater's direct heat area.

Install the heater immediately over the area to be heated, at a height of 96" to 105". Installation with extension poles (sold separately) is recommended for ceiling heights greater than 105" In ideal conditions, these units can heat up to 60 sq. ft. in an outdoor enclosed area or up to 78 sq. ft. indoors. Please note that coverage area will vary depending on various conditions such as wind, temperature, and mounting height.

The Dimplex DLW Series Radiant Infrared Electric Heater may be mounted on the wall or ceiling using the provided Standard Mounting Brackets, allowing you to direct heat to a specified location. These adjustable brackets have preset angle settings and may be mounted directly to the ceiling or wall.

Do I need to be home for delivery?

If you purchased a fireplace from us, the freight company we hired to deliver your purchase will contact you for a good time and date for delivery. Typically, if your purchase is being shipped via FedEx ground you do not need to be home. We always ask that you make sure your purchase has arrived undamaged prior to the delivery service leaving your home.  

What happens if my product is delivered damaged?

If you receive a damaged package during, we can help. Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive.  If you notice any damage, you should make note of it when signing for delivery. If you item(s) do arrive damaged, please send photos to support@atlasfireplaces.com and we will process an insurance claim on your behalf.  We will also work with you on getting a replacement, if necessary. Do you install fireplaces?

We do not install fireplaces. We do recommend you find a local NFI certified fireplace installer which you can search for on NFI’s website here: Public – National Fireplace Institute (NFI) (nficertified.org)
