Featuring clean lines, a muted black finish, and an elegant linear burner, the EMPIRE BOULEVARD SL VENTLESS GAS FIREPLACE is just what you need to add sophisticated drama to your modern living space! The linear burner is placed between a tempered glass front and rear matte black panel for high-definition contrast and a striking flame presentation. A fine mesh screen barrier covers the front to protect against accidental contact with the fire, keeping you and your loved ones safe.

With state-of-the-art Ventless design and rated at 14,000 BTUs for Natural Gas and 12,000 BTUs for Liquid Propane, the Boulevard SL maintains a comfortable temperature in spaces up to 417 square feet. A 10,000 BTU version is certified for bedroom installation (where allowed by code) helping you achieve the ultimate cozy respite.

The EMPIRE BOULEVARD SL VENTLESS GAS FIREPLACE features an electronic intermittent pilot ignition system, an On/Off wall switch, and battery back-up for convenient use during power outages. Upgrade from the On/Off switch to a wall thermostat, remote control thermostat, or programmable remote control. The electronic intermittent pilot ignition includes a state-of-the-art safety pilot system, which will shut off the gas supply if the flame ever goes out, along with an Oxygen Depletion Sensor (ODS) to continuously monitor the CO2 levels in the room. The ODS will shut off the fireplace if the oxygen supply dips below the safe threshold.

The Boulevard SL is sized to fit into a stud-framed wall and conceals its valve and control module below the burner. Openings in the casing allow you to route the gas supply below, through the side, or out the back of the fireplace. Three installation options - recessed, partially recessed, and surface-mount - give you the flexibility to choose the location that best fits your space and desired aesthetic.

RECESSED INSTALLATION: With only a 5.5-inch depth, the Boulevard SL can be fully installed in a 2 x 6 stud-framed wall. You can place tile or stone up to the rectangular opening to create a beautiful, clean-faced look. The optional trim kit finishes the opening, hiding the tile or stone edges, and adjusts from 1/2 to 1-inch depths. Recessed installations require installing the included non-combustible material above and to the sides of the fireplace, and tile or stone up to the fireplace opening.

PARTIALLY RECESSED INSTALLATION: The Boulevard SL can be installed partially in a 2 x 4 stud-framed wall and finished with one of two fronts. Partially recessed installations require installing the included non-combustible material above the fireplace and a Mitered Decorative Front.

SURFACE-MOUNT INSTALLATION: Hang the Boulevard SL like a framed picture on any wall – including brick, stone, or conventional drywall – and finish it with a decorative front. Surface-Mount installation requires a Mitered Decorative Front and Fireplace Wrap.

As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail.  This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase.  As soon as we receive your order, we automatically reach out to our suppliers to confirm that it is in stock and available for immediate shipment.  If your item is on backorder or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorization and reach out to you via e-mail.  If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 5 business days), we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment. We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 3-5 Business Days. If you are not satisfied with your product, we offer a refund for non custom or Made-to-order products (see exceptions below). There is a 20% restocking fee and return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. Read More

Do I need to be home for delivery?

If you purchased a fireplace from us, the freight company we hired to deliver your purchase will contact you for a good time and date for delivery. Typically, if your purchase is being shipped via FedEx ground you do not need to be home. We always ask that you make sure your purchase has arrived undamaged prior to the delivery service leaving your home.  

What happens if my product is delivered damaged?

If you receive a damaged package during, we can help. Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive.  If you notice any damage, you should make note of it when signing for delivery. If you item(s) do arrive damaged, please send photos to support@atlasfireplaces.com and we will process an insurance claim on your behalf.  We will also work with you on getting a replacement, if necessary. Do you install fireplaces?

We do not install fireplaces. We do recommend you find a local NFI certified fireplace installer which you can search for on NFI’s website here: Public – National Fireplace Institute (NFI) (nficertified.org)
